“At War With Wind” presentation set March 14 at Ottawa Municipal Auditorium

Overheating, mechanical breakdown and fires aren't the only problems as industrial turbine field developers build taller and taller units. Reducing dependable electricity production and replacing it with "iffy" wind farm generation has wreaked havoc on energy economies in Europe.

OTTAWA, Kan. – Kansas State Senator and former Kansas City-area weatherman Mike Thompson will present “At War With Wind: A Resident’s Guide To Stopping Industrial Renewables” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Ottawa Municipal Auditorium in Ottawa, Kan.

The event is free to the public and is sponsored by The Anderson County and Franklin County Republican parties and by Mike and Eileen Burns.
